Title: Finding His Pack: A Shifter Mpreg Romance ( Greycoast Pack Bk 1) Word Count: 205pgs
Genre: Paranormal Gay Romance
Blurb:The thing about Fate is…she doesn’t care about rules.
Recent college graduate, Cord Smith expected to graduate, find a six figure salary, and move to the city. Instead he discovers his degree might look pretty on the wall, but it isn’t helping him get out of his low end job. Add to that his growing concern that he might be losing it as the voice he thought was his conscience as a small child has grown to be more on the forefront; he’s a mess. Growing up in foster care means he’s in this on his own—or so he thinks. It isn’t until he shifts unexpectedly that he discovers the truth—he’s a wolf.
Greycoast Pack Alpha Byrom is doing the best he can to keep his pack together, but as a young Alpha and an unmated Alpha at that, he faces struggles both within his pack and with those surrounding him; packs that long for their land. When his pack finds a rogue on their land, he knows what he has to do—put the shifter down. Anything less will only show his weakness.
But what is an Alpha to do when the rogue he is to put down isn’t a rogue at all, but a latent shifter coming into his own, a shifter his wolf is clamouring to claim as his own?

My Review: Byrom has always known his destiny in the Greycoast pack. He has been trained from birth to take over the alpha role, while his younger twin brother Lyle has been trained to be his Beta. When an unforseen accident with a tractor trailer kills his Alpha and Omega fathers and most of the elders, Byrom is thrust into his new role as Alpha. Dealing with his grief and stepping into his new role is certainly not easy. When his territory is invaded by an unfamiliar wolf, Byrom is forced to make a decision. Their laws dictates that any unfamiliar, unclaimed wolf should be killed. Byrom thinks these laws are archaic and he knows he can never hurt the little wolf. He feels an intense connection with him that can only mean one thing. He has finally found his mate.
Cord Smith has been drowning in insurmountable debt and he’s just trying to stay afloat. When he unexpectedly turns into a wolf on a hiking trek in the woods, he is scared and confused. He is terrified when he is surrounded by a pack of wolves. When they turn into human , he feels a connection to the one they call Alpha. There is just something about Alpha Byrom that screams safe. Cord has a lot to learn about his new world and Byrom takes him under his protection and decides to teach him.
As Cord learns a little more each day about his new life, he embraces it. Things start falling in place and both Byrom and Cord grow closer each day. Things really start heating up between these two, but every time they have an intimate moment Cord backs off a little. Byrom tries to give him the time he needs as he knows becoming the Alpha Omega can be a very daunting experience. Even though he’s a natural with the pups in the pack and he is accepted by most of the adults, Cord constantly doubts himself. He holds on to the insecurities from being a foster child who never felt like he was good enough.
In his fear of the unknown Cord clings to his human side, to the point where he does not fully embrace his wolf. Not trusting his wolf becomes detrimental to his wellbeing. When he is kidnapped by Byrom’s enemy Rance and faced with death, Cord realizes how much he truly felt at home with his wolf pack. He now understands the vital role the Alpha Omega plays in pack life especially with him realizing that he is carrying the future heir. More than anything, Cord wants to protect his pup and be able to follow his true destiny by living his life with Alpha Byrom.Byrom rushes to the rescue when he senses his mate in danger. He is followed by his Betas and saves his mate. Along the way he also forges allies with the neighboring Northbay pack.
After his harrowing experience Cord embraces his mating wholeheartedly not wanting to wait another second. The Alpha pair fall into a seemless pattern working together and taking care of the pack. Growing his family becomes Cord’s greatest joy. When he finally holds his son in his arms with Byrom by his side, he knows he is finally home. I give this my ratings of 4- lose the underwear.
