My Review: Avery feels like he is failing at life. For him , adulting has been a real bitch. Even though he works three jobs , he’s barely making rent on his tiny apartment and he can only afford 2 classes at a time at his college. He tries to maintain his sunny disposition when he gets to the coffee shop where he works. His manager and bestfriend are more like family to him, they’re the only people in his life who cares. When he comes face to face with the sexy older Jace, who he’s been crushing on for months he turns into a nervous wreck who can barely string two sentences together.
Jace has been watching the sweet young man for months, but he has been patient. He knows that his ‘baby boy’ knows nothing of the lifestyle and he doesn’t want to overwhelm him. He is getting really tired of watching his boy struggle through life and he knows he will have to step in as his ‘daddy’. After watching his boy getting yelled at by the despicable manager at his other job, Jace knows he’s seen enough. Avery knows for sure he must have hit his head when he fell. That’s the only reason to explain the warm , solid arms that embrace him. The sexy voice that is somehow familiar let’s him know it’s ok and that Daddy is there for him. Soft lips soothes away his tears, telling him that he did nothing wrong. It feels so good to be held, but when he becomes aware that it’s Jace holding him, he feels like a fool. Jace does all he can to reassure him and even gets Avery’s number in the process. However, Avery draws the line at Jace driving him home as he is ashamed of where he lives.
Jace capitulated and leaves his boy with his dignity intact. He keeps in contact with Avery, letting him know he is interested and dropping hints at the type of relationship he would want. Jace asks Avery out on a date and even though he still can’t believe it, Avery accepts. Jace is extremely eager for their date, because he plans to delve a little deeper into his explanation about the BDSM lifestyle with Avery. Their date goes off without a hitch, but Avery now has a lot to think of and lots of research of his own. Jace was very caring and supportive, Avery can see why he is a daddy Dom. It’s just going to take Avery awhile to understand why Jace would want to take care of all his needs.
In the next couple of weeks Avery is introduced to being Jace’s baby boy and he submits beautifully. It is very freeing to let his Daddy take charge of everything without having to worry. For the first time, Avery feels treasured, but he still has self doubts about his ‘daddy’ wanting him as a forever boy. Avery is still holding back and trying to be too independent. He has a lot on his plate with school and his three jobs. He is about to burn himself out and he snaps. These doubts has set their relationship on a crash course. By trying to do everything himself, Avery has denied Jace the right to his role as a daddy. Avery has been thinking that he is just too much trouble, too much for daddy to handle. In hindsight during his punishment, all of this comes to him in a light bulb moment.
Jace is proud that his baby boy was able to work through his emotions during his punishment. Avery finally opens up, telling his daddy how he is floundering in his everyday life.
After talking through their issues and Avery finally giving over the reins for Jace to fully take charge of the financial aspects of his life, Avery feels a sense of relief. Avery is at ease and takes the moment to engage in some serious sexy times with his daddy. Seeing his boy’s submission drives his daddy wild. Their relationship has grown leaps and bounds within the short period of time that they’ve been together. There is no longer any doubt in Avery’s mind. He has let go totally off all his fears. Avery realizes that this is the happiest that he has ever been. It’s all due to his daddy and his friends who are all a part of the lifestyle. Being around like minded friends has shown him that there is nothing wrong with his desires.It is beautiful watching both these men settling into their respective roles. There is so much trust and love between the two. They are perfect for each other. I give this my ratings of 4- lose the underwear.
