Scary ( Twirled World Ink 3) by J. M. Dabney

Title : Scary                          Word Count:196 pgs

Genre: Gay Biker Romance

Blurb:Welcome to Twirled World Ink where the crazies run the asylum.

Gene Sheridan earned the appropriate nickname when Legend Gib Phelps employed him at Twirled World Ink—Scary. No one made it out of his old neighborhood without scars both mental and physical. At one time, Scary thought he had a chance that is until his ex-boyfriend discovered slumming with someone like him wasn’t worth his trust fund. No-strings hookups became his go-to when he needed to relieve some tension. Co-owning a bar called Brawlers with his best friend, Tank, made it easy to find a body to use for the night. If not happy he was content with his life, but one man made content seem like such a terrible thing.

Elijah Vaughn worried about everything. His life was put on hold at eighteen when his mostly-absent parents died on one of their many adventures leaving him to raise his six-year-old brother, Brody. He’d never had anything or anyone that was just his. When Brody met a tattoo artist named Trouble, Elijah hadn’t realized how much it would change his life too. He met a huge man named Scary and how the man made him feel terrified him.

Tank Davis lost his voice the night he was attacked and had this throat slit ear-to-ear. It kept him in a world of silence. Silent and intimidating, he scared off more men than he drew to him. His best friend Scary and him made a life for themselves in small town Georgia with their bar Brawlers. Most night everyone could find him working security at the door. Scary called in a favor, and Tank met the one man he couldn’t resist, proper and upstanding Elijah Vaughn.

Can one man accept that there’s not one perfect man for him, but two damaged souls who need him to be whole?

Author’s Note: Although this is part of a series each book is stand alone and every book deals with a separate couple.
My Review:  Gene ‘Scary’ Sheridan is the big bad wolf out of all the Twirled Crew. He is mean as hell and he doesn’t care who knows it. From the very first moment he met Brody’s brother Elijah, he’s been unsettled. He has come across prissy clean cut men like Elijah before and nothing good has ever come from it. Elijah has been very attracted to Scary from the first moment, but he knows Scary hates him. At first he wasn’t sure about all these tattooed bikers in Brody’s life, but he now realize how genuine and loyal they are. Elijah feels comfortable being around them, because what you see is what you get. He yearns for the type of relationship that his brother has with Trouble. Elijah is not sure what he wants from Scary, he just wished it didn’t hurt so much to be ignored by him.

Princess has bragged about all of her ‘uncles’ to Elijah, especially Scary and his silent best friend Tank. After a horrible event that left Tank scarred, he has been unable to speak ever since. Most of the crew talks to Tank in ASL. When Tank lays eyes on Elijah for the first time,he is definitely smitten by the pretty little man. Elijah allows Tank to feel something he hasn’t felt in forever. Tank finds his protective instincts coming out with Elijah. He wants him.

When Brody notices the weird dynamic between the three men at one of Scary’s famous sleepover, he corners his brother. Brody’s reality check puts a damper on Elijah’s feelings and it hurts to feel like he doesn’t belong. Elijah goes to find the bathroom and accidentally walk in on Scary pleasuring himself. He is about to back out of the room, when he is cornered by Tank at his back. Tank becomes the mastermind and gently nudges them in the right direction. Sparks fly between these three and the passion that unfolds is inevitable. Before they can even get anything started, Elijah gets scared and run away.  He is scandalized at his feelings for both Scary and Tank.

Tank and Scary are a little hesitant to pursue Elijah due to his respectable job as the mayor. However, their feelings quickly overshadow respectability and they decide to go after their ‘boy’. They approach Elijah with the concept of a threesome and he is stupefied , but he can’t deny his attraction for the two of them. They decide to start dating. It doesn’t take long for Elijah to be indoctrinated to the hardcore sex of these two tattooed bikers. They know Elijah is a delicate flower on the outside, but Scary’s aim is definitely to muss up all that perfectness and turn him into a dirty ‘boy’.

They get a nice groove going, but insecurities pop up for Tank and he feels like a fifth wheel. Scary is there to soothe his best friend but he knows it has to come from Elijah. Elijah does his best to reassure Tank even though he is away on a business trip. Scary seeing that its not enough , plans for them to meet up at Elijah’s hotel. The flames are combustible when they meet up. Scary is undeniably dominant and aggressive , whereas Tank leads with quiet dominance that is almost gentle. Elijah feels like he might have found his fit with these two brash men. When they finally get to talking they realise that they all are a little insecure. They don’t feel like they are enough individually, but they are learning that together they will measure up equally.

Their lives become further embroiled when Elijah decides to start the adoption paperwork to foster a 12 year old girl who he catches breaking in his car. There is just something about Sophie that tugs at his heartstrings. Scary has dubbed her Juvie and the name is very fitting since she is a charming misunderstood juvenile delinquent. These three men can’t imagine their lives without Juvie.

Tank’s past comes back to haunt them when his ex boyfriend Ian, who disfigured him rolls into town. Ian starts messing with them and takes an interest into Elijah. The men toss Ian out of Brawlers when he decides to revisit his twisted attraction to Tank by kissing him. This brings up a host of feelings in Scary, the main ones being jealousy and his possessive tendencies. When Juvie calls to say  Elijah didn’t pick her up from school , they know something is wrong. Elijah is missing for 2 days before they get a clue. It’s one of Ian’s men Psycho , who gives them a lead. They are not sure if they can trust Psycho, but they don’t have a choice.Psycho, Tank, Scary and the rest of the Brawlers get Elijah back in one piece, just a bit bruised. It doesn’t end well for Ian and he certainly will not be missed. Psycho becomes Elijah’s personal bodyguard and is yet another addition to the Brawlers crazies.

Tank withdraws from his men, taking all of the blame on himself for Elijah getting hurt. Elijah and Scary ambushes Tank at his cabin, but its definitely Scary running the show. He is very dominant and shows Tank who is the boss. Tank needs this aggression from Scary. Scary possessed Tank’s body while Elijah watched. This is the first time for the trio to come together sexually. It was intense, brutal and oh so primal. These two rough and tumble bikers finally got the man to soothe their demons and a family with Juvie that they never hoped to have. Scary makes it official by proposing a commitment ceremony. The love amongst these three men is a beautiful thing. I give this my ratings of 5- bring out  the vibrators.

Protecting Braden (  Custos Securities 2) by Luna David

Title: Protecting Braden        Word Count:328pgs

But nothing could prepare him for Braden’s decision to put himself in danger.

After a vicious attack from his stalker leaves Braden fighting for his life, Cade will stop at nothing to see the man responsible punished. Time passes, but Braden’s attacker hasn’t given up and Cade’s afraid he never will. As Cade and the most trusted members of Custos Securities track Braden’s assailant, Braden struggles to rebuild his life and re-establish the fragile trust he and Cade had worked so hard to build. Braden knows if he’s going to survive the chaos surrounding him, he’s going to have to give Cade everything he has—mind, body, and soul.

More determined than ever to hunt down the man that nearly killed the love of his life, Cade will do everything in his power to ensure that he and Braden will be able to live the life of their dreams with nothing and no one standing in their way. Meanwhile, hidden just out of their reach, an increasingly deranged stalker watches…and waits.

Author’s Note: Although this book can be read as a stand-alone, it is highly recommended that you read book 1, Trusting Cade, first. For those of you that prefer warnings—trigger or otherwise—use the “Look Inside” feature to find them within the first several pages. For those of you that prefer to be surprised, avoid the front matter of the book. . . Happy reading!

My Review:  The second book in the Custos series is just as exhilarating as the first one. It picks up where the first one left off. Braden is laid up in the hospital in a coma after being held captive and beaten by his stalker ex Eric. Eric is in the wind and Cade his lover is in warrior protective mode. Cade is overjoyed when Bray finally comes out of the coma. Bray is a bit overwhelmed and jumping at shadows after the traumatic event that he had to endure. Bray stays in the hospital for awhile and Cade is the there by his side throughout it all. The juxtaposition of seeing how dominant and caring Cade is makes for a super hot read.

It is slow going for Bray’s recovery and it soon becomes apparent that he is suffering from PTSD when the nightmares and panic attacks starts. It is hard for Braden at first,  he feels like a burden to Cade because of how clingy and dependent he has become. It takes awhile for him to adjust and be peaceful in his own skin. It takes Cade’s brand of passion to soothe his soul. Bray knows that he needs his lover’s big hands all over his body to take away some of the lingering fear and stain that he feels. Cade and his men are on constant protective detail to Braden, his nana and  his best friend Maya.

Cade and Braden’s relationship is solidified even further when he meets Cade’s family. Bray is nervous at first, but  he falls in line seemlessly when he realize how warm and down to earth they are. Cade starts making permanent plans for their life and partnership. He decides to open up a branch of Custos securities and to get a bigger home for him and Bray to live in. Braden is ecstatic to be making these plans with his overprotective man . Their bliss is short-lived however, when Eric makes a reappearance in their lives.

Braden is kidnapped again and Cade is hurt this time. Through his pain , Cade still manages to be a super hero and find Bray through tracers. By the time Cade gets there with his men , Bray has been shot in the stomach. Cade loses control and  pounds Eric to dust and ends up killing the madman after Eric made another attempt to hurt Bray. Finally, it is over but the recovery is not as easy this time around.

There is an instant where Braden actually flat-lines and it is a heart-rending  moment to see how devastated Cade becomes. It takes too strong men Cooper and his brother Gideon to bring him around. It is testament to the strength of their love that it takes hearing Braden’s heartbeat to get Cade focused again. They have a long road of recovery for both of them mentally, physically and psychologically ahead of them. Their love has definitely withstood many trials, but through it all they have remained strong and protective of each other.

Braden and Cade both decide to delve deeper in the dominance and submission realm of their relationship. Cade offers him a contract, but Bray refuses something so formal. He trusts Cade implicitly to know how far to push his boundaries sexually while keeping his every need in mind . This works out perfectly for them and definitely adds a super hot element to the sexual chemistry that’s already a living entity between them. Braden relishes the power he feels when he fully submits to Cade.

When they move into their dream home, Cade finally proposes to Bray who willingly accepts to become Braden McCade. Flash forward two years, Cade and Braden are still totally in love with each other and their circle is now completed with twins Harper and Hunter McCade had by surrogate Maya. This was the best ending possible. I really enjoyed Cade and Braden’s epic love story and I look forward to reading the third in the series. I give this my ratings of 5- bring out the vibrators, because this has every little nuance that I could ever need in a great romance.

My Review: From the very first moment  ex army Special Forces Captain Zavier McCade, meets Braden Cross he knows they are meant to be. Braden raises all the protective instincts that Zavier possess.  Braden has been through a lot in his past  relationship where his last boyfriend almost killed him when he beat him and raped him for the last time. Through strength of will and a desperation to live, Braden had the forethought to tape the whole event. He used this as blackmail to get his bastard of an  ex Eric to leave him in peace by threatening to expose him for the monster he truly is.

Braden is content being single , he feels truly free when he is baking for his cafe which he co-owns with his best friend Maya. He runs ultra marathons and tries to be as healthy as he can  be by keeping his type 1 Diabetes in check.

Braden has to face reality when his best friend Maya discovers some letters that he has been hiding. Maya sees the danger in the letters that he has been receiving from a stalker. Braden has to face up and realize that he needs help from security professionals. It so happens that Maya’s brother Cooper co-owns  Custos Security with his best friend Zavier McCade. They step in and take control of the situation so that Braden can feel safe again.

From the very first moment that Cade meets Braden,  he realizes something within himself that he has never experienced before. For him , it’s love at first sight and all he wants to do is to protect Braden and take care of him. This comes as a surprise to Cade, because he is used to dating guys who have a similar body type to himself. Braden is very small in stature and comes off as being delicate. Cade’s interest in Braden is noted by Maya and she warns him against hurting her best friend.  Braden also notices Cade’s interest and feels a bit intimidated by his size. Cade is physically imposing and this scares Braden, because he is afraid of all that strength being used against him.

It doesn’t take long for Braden to realize that Cade would never do anything to harm him physically or emotionally . He takes care of Bray like no other, always putting his needs first. Bray starts feeling really comfortable around Cade and reciprocates his feelings. It is amazing to watch their love blossom into something indestructible. They really start feeling comfortable with each other and this boosts Braden’s self esteem.  Cade is very positive that Braden will be his future husband. Cade can definitely picture his sweet Braden fitting in seemlessly in his life and with his close knitted protective family.

Before they can take their relationship to the next step, disaster strikes when Braden is kidnapped by his deranged ex Eric. Eric viciously beats Braden causing him to fall in a diabetic coma from insulin deprivation. Cade heart breaks when he sees all the bruises on Braden’s body. He stays by his side and prays  and hopes for the best. Cade’s security team continues the search for Eric , but his main focus remains on getting Braden well. Everything is left hanging in the balance with Braden’s recovery, but the strength of Cade’s love for his sweet man can surely overcome anything. I give this my ratings of 4 – lose the underwear. I can’t wait to see what happens next.

Haven’s Creed by Parker Williams

Title: Haven’s Creed                    Word Count:94,000

Genre: Dark Gay Romance

Blurb: An act of violence destroys his family and ends the life he knows. To escape his haunted past, he joins the military, where, as a sniper, he is trained to kill with precision and detachment. When a covert organization offers him a new purpose, he becomes Haven, an operative devoted to protecting the innocent when he can and avenging them when he cannot.

After ten years of battling the evil in the world, the life no longer holds the attraction or meaning it once had, and he’s ready to walk away. Then he meets Samuel, a young man forced from the age of twelve to work as a sex slave. If ever a man had a need for Haven, it is this one.

Yet nothing about this growing relationship is one-sided. Sammy gives Haven a stability he’s never known, and Haven becomes the rock upon which Sammy knows he can depend.

When Sammy reveals something about the enemy Haven has been hunting for months, Sammy fears it will destroy what they’ve built and he’ll lose his home in Haven’s heart.
My Review: This is a very dark tale of the underground world of sex, innocence lost and some of the worst crimes against humanity. There is an elite group formed for when justice fails. Our main character is sent out to rid the world of the type of scum that would get off scot-free when palms are greased. He is a professional, an assassin, he is the personification of his name Haven. Haven has always been able to take care of his targets without blinking an eye, but lately when he comes home from an assignment he feels very restless. Crimes of sexual slavery are on a rise and his handler Rook appoints him as the best man for the job.

It is on one of these missions he finds a downtrodden, sorely abused boy named Sammy. Sammy is the most beautiful thing Haven has ever seen, even underneath all the grime and filth he is covered with. Sammy clings to Haven for dear life and it’s the first time Haven decides to use his safe house by taking Sammy with him. It soon becomes clear that Sammy is nervous around everyone else but Haven. Sammy looks at Haven as his protector. Haven calls in assistance from the people who take care of him on his downtime. The doctor gives Sammy a clean bill of health , despite him being a bit malnourished and scared of going outside. Kelly, the man who takes care of him while he is home notices how Sammy clings to Haven. He realizes that there is something between these two men right off the bat.

Sammy is very obvious about his attraction to Haven,  but Haven resists because he believes it’s just hero worship. Sammy blossoms before his eyes and in the weeks to come, it soon becomes clear that Sammy has an underlying strength to him.  He let’s Haven know that he will take care of him and ease the burdens of his mind. Haven comes to realize that he can rely on Sammy’s strength. Although Sammy has been  victimized , he definitely doesn’t portray a victim.  He is comfortable with Haven’s profession and accepts him for who he is. Sammy understands the purpose of Haven being an assassin and relishes the fact that his man is a protector for the innocent.

With every kill that Haven does,  he loses a piece more of his soul. Sammy becomes his rock, the one who puts him all back together when he comes home . Sammy is now his haven, something Haven thought he’d never find. They fall into a D/s relationship with Sammy being the dominant. It seems a bit strange at first , but it actually makes total sense. Sammy needs not to feel like a victim and he knows he will always be the strength for Haven.  Haven needs to checkout after a job and allow someone else to make all the hard decisions for him. Haven knows in his heart that there is no one else he would rather trust to take care of his heart and soul than Sammy. Their relationship is very intense and they take what they need from each other.

It turns out that the kingpin that Haven is hunting is Sammy’s mother Valerie. Haven can’t wait to kill her, since she is the one who sold sweet Sammy and so many other kids into sexual slavery. There is no love lost between Sammy and his mother, but he fears that Haven will never be the same after this assignment.  Sammy explains that he is a mirror image of his mother in looks. He is afraid that the similarity will tear Haven apart or hinder him from doing his job.

Sammy runs away when he sees that he can’t change Haven’s mind. Haven is hurt and despondent when  Sammy doesn’t  come home. He goes off half cocked and gets himself caught in Valerie’s trap. Valerie tries to break Haven and gives him quite a few injuries,  but Haven being the professional regains the upperhand eventually. He is just about to kill her when Sammy walks in. Sammy is trying to protect his man, he takes the gun and kills his mother without flinching.

They are both safe and they go home together, but it takes almost a year for things to go back to normal. Sammy agrees to see a therapist and work through his angst and trauma. Haven proposes and Sammy is definitely ready to take his last name. It is on their one year anniversary that Sammy finally returns to his glowing  self. I give this my ratings of 4- lose the underwear.

Tucker Springs 3: Dirty Laundry by Heidi Cullinan

Title : Dirty Laundry                    Word Count :71,400

Genre : Contemporary Gay Romance

Blurb : Entomology grad student Adam Ellery meets Denver Rogers, a muscle-bound hunk of sexy, when Denver effortlessly dispatches the drunken frat boys harassing Adam at the Tucker Springs laundromat. Thanking him turns into flirting, and then, much to Adam’s delight, hot sex over the laundry table.

Though Denver’s job as a bouncer at a gay bar means he gets his pick of geek-sexy college twinks, he can’t get Adam out of his head. Adam seems to need the same rough play Denver does, and it’s damn hard to say no to such a perfect fit.

Trouble is, Adam isn’t just shy: he has obsessive compulsive disorder and clinical anxiety, conditions which have ruined past relationships. And while Denver might be able to bench-press a pile of grad students, he comes from a history of abuse and is terrified of getting his GED. Neither Denver nor Adam want to face their dirty laundry, but to stay together, they’re going to have to come clean.

My Review : Denver and Adam’s relationship starts out hot and heavy from the beginning.  This is so weird and insanely hot, since they are strangers that meet for the first time in a laundromat. They are complete opposites and they complement each other perfectly.  Adam is a PhD student studying hawk moths, who has a severe case of OCD and panic attacks.  Denver is a gym junkie who is extremely ripped , works as a bouncer and has a learning disability.  One thing is for sure, Denver is the perfect Dom for Adams submissive nature.

Both these characters are very lovable and I can really feel the chemistry between them. This is the kind of dominant/submissive relationship I love to see. Their relationship shows the outside world and how it plays out, rather than being inundated  with aspects of the BDSM lifestyle that leaves me puzzled. Adam’s OCD plays a major role in who he is as a person and how he reacts to the environment and navigate relationships in his everyday life. His OCD  stems from spatial infringement, which causes him to have panic attacks if someone is in his private space or even public space for too long. It is hard for him to not categorize space according to where people belong. This made for a very interesting read as it led to the main characters having sex in some unusual and very public spaces which was highly entertaining and erotic.

Adam and Denver finds themselves in a relationship that they both need even though they hide their insecurities from each other. Adam is afraid to let Denver know about his OCD and Denver doesn’t  want to admit that his learning disabilities is holding him back. Adam gives Denver the freedom to be in charge through spankings and deep throat fucking which allows him to enter subspace and create a free zone from worries about pain  attacks and OCD. I really enjoyed watching Denver trying to cull Adam’s OCD with his dominant nature.

Once they were able to admit to each other  their deepest insecurities , they were able to navigate their relationship with fluidity. They developed a bond so strong that stood the test of time and was able to hold up under the pressures of their personalities.  I totally loved this book and I embraced their happily ever after right along side them. Perfect couple, perfect sex,  it really hit the spot. Yeah, that spot 😉. I give this my ratings of 5 – bring out the vibrators.

Favorite Quotes : 1. “That’s right.” The finger breaching Adam pushed deeper, and Adam moaned again. “This is all you have to do. Don’t worry about who’s watching. I’m watching. I’m watching my finger go into your ass, watching you spread open for me. You gonna take my cock next, sweet thing? You gonna moan all over my folded clothes while I fuck you?” The finger fucked Adam gently but insistently. “Right here on the table where everyone can see?” (There is nothing hotter than being commanded to do dirty things to your body while someone else has the pleasure of watching 😀.)

2. Denver laughed, a wicked sound. “Yeah. You like this. You like this more than you want to admit. Ass in the air in a laundromat, finger-fucked by a guy you just met. Humping my laundry.” Another slap, another groan from Adam. “There you go, boy. Make noise. I like to hear noise. I know you want my cock in your ass, right here on this table, but it ain’t happening until you make more noise.” This time the slap stung, going straight to Adam’s cock. “Come on. Let me hear it. ( Sex with a stranger, kinda hottt😈. )

3. Resting his weight on the soft, clean mat Denver had spread out, Adam reached around and dutifully played with his asshole for Denver’s enjoyment. He pulled his cheeks apart and flexed his hole. He held himself open to be filled with lube, and then he greased himself with it, first fucking himself and then fucking and spreading himself, encouraged by the appreciative noises and occasional slaps Denver gave his ass and thighs. They never hurt, but they jarred him, reminding him this was for Denver, that he was for Denver, that his ass and its spreading and fucking was all for Denver. Adam wanted to be like this for Denver forever, the world simplified and held away by the iron sides of the truck and Denver’s size, strength, and softness. Because he wasn’t hard, not right now. He was soft, relaxed, enjoying the porn show Adam gave him, commenting on how good he looked with his hole stretched and his three fingers fucking hard in and out. Adam whimpered and gave him more, gave him what he wanted, what he seemed to need, but mostly what he asked for. ( Too hot to handle. I love it.)

Foster Siblings 3: Brokedown Hearts by Cameron Dane

Title : Foster Siblings 3: Brokedown Hearts                   Word Count : 128,316

Genre : Contemporary Gay Romance

Blurb : Ex-con David Joyner returns home knowing he must atone for his past sins. Working at an animal shelter, David keeps his head down, desperate to prove to a hostile town he’s a new man. The one time David looks up, he spots fellow motel dweller Ben, and is terrified by his attraction to the man. David doesn’t want to feel anything. He can only damage what he loves.

On a forced vacation, PI Ben Evans accepts a job to tail a recently released prisoner. What begins as an easy gig turns complicated when Ben, a controlled man, can’t deny the pang of empathy he feels for his subject, David. Ben can’t suppress his aggressive sexual desires whenever he’s near David either.

Repeatedly crossing paths, David and Ben do their best to fight their growing attraction. When passion explodes, and secrets are revealed, both men have to conquer inner demons in order to accept the others love.

Someone has turned the tables on David, though, stalking him and leaving threatening notes. Will anyone believe David if he tells? And when David’s stalker raises the stakes, can Ben find the man who has become his world in time to save their love?

My Review : It is very sad when total strangers treat you kinder than your own family. This is what we see from the beginning happening to David, his family treats him with a level of contempt that nobody should have to endure. David is trying to put the pieces of his life in some semblance of order after spending some time in prison for stalking his boyfriend.  He has learned the error of his ways and trained his misguided heart away from his former boyfriend  through therapy. He decides to move on with his life in his quiet hometown. His brothers let him know how disgusted they are with his sexual preference and how unforgiving his transgressions are against their family name. David realizes that he  is pretty much on his own in a town that depises him for his past wrongs. He is shunned, laughed at and tormented by the  people in the town.

It was very hard for me to reconcile this new rehabilitated David to the psycho that he appeared to be in book one A Fostered Love. In the previous book he had kidnapped and held at gunpoint his former lover Christian and assaulted Christian’s boyfriend Jonah. Upon his release from prison, Jonah tasks PI Ben Evans to tail David in order to ensure that he is not after Christian again. As soon as Ben meets David, he sees something in him that he can’t resist. He sees David as a sweet , lost soul who is trying to find his footing  and overcome the stain of previous unfortunate events that led to his downward spiral which caused his imprisonment.

The attraction between these two blossomed and spiraled into something uncontrollable and all consuming.  David was so scared of relapsing to his stalking tendencies and he tries to put some distance between himself and Ben,  so that he could tame his desires. However, that’s not necessary because the passion that David feels is very intense and for once the same obsessive fixation is returned by Ben.

At first, I really wished that  Ms. Dane had not made David the main character in this one, but I guess this is her way of showing us that everyone deserves a second chance. Ben needed someone like David in his life. Ben strips David bare and forces him to face his past, present and future. He opens him up layer by layer and dominates ever part of his being. Ben pushes David to give that part of himself that he is trying to keep in check so as not to trigger his obsessive tendencies. Ben needs it all from David,  that dependence that feeds his overly dominant personality that he has suppressed in all his past relationships.

The sex between Ben and David was off the charts, it was sexy, hot and sultry. Ben was a very demanding,  dominant lover and he always pushed David to the breaking point. At times he would take him with an animalistic ferocity. Now that’s the kinda sex I like, I love that friction burn, the one that leaves you walking funny for days ;). Ben was scared that he was pushing David too far in uncharted territory, but David was able to handle all that he dished out and then some.

I was so happy that Ms Dane was able to put together such a beautiful story with these two flawed characters. Actually , they were perfect, lovable characters despite all their imperfections. I swear these two characters were borderline psychotic, but what the heck we are all a little bit crazy anyway. They both trusted each other to make the  best possible decisions for their life and bond to flourish.I loved them together.Ms Dane has a way with words that’s very visceral and she certainly ticked all my happy buttons. This one gets my ratings of 5 – bring out the vibrators. You’ll definitely need it.
