Blurb : For fifteen years Luke Moore has lived by three rules: stay off his father’s radar, never spend more than a single night with any man, and never fall in love again. But one night of explosive sex and two men he can’t get out of his head have Luke breaking every one of his rules. Richard and Matthew push him past all his boundaries—both sexually and personally—and now he’s no longer hiding from his senator father. He’s taking him on. And he isn’t just falling for one man. He’s falling for two. If you’re going to break the rules, might as well break them big.

But Luke’s father has his reasons for hating how his son lives, and he’ll do whatever he can and use all his power to keep Luke away from Richard and Matthew.

Can this threesome find a way to make their unconventional relationship last with the world around them trying to pull them apart? And will Luke be able to keep breaking his rules for Richard and Matthew, or will he head back to his old way of life just when his new lovers want to pull him closer.

My Review : Three men, all of them strangers to each other meet at a sex club called Haven. Richard is the dominant one and  he is a giant of a man. Luke is looking for something in particular,  he wants to be tied up. Matthew is the youngest and he is a sexy little man. All of them except for Matthew is adamant about their time together being a one time deal. Matthew is oh so exuberant and boy can he kiss. He makes Luke yearn for that intimacy of kissing and sees what he has been missing.  Luke gets so excited just watching Richard behind Matthew, their size difference does something for him. Richard is driving the whole show and it is obvious he knows what he’s doing when he ties Luke to the bed. Richard has this chivalrous quality to him that allows them all to feel safe. Richard proves his power and dominance to them all and he brings Luke to the pinnacle by demanding his subjugation.

It soon becomes clear that Luke is very afraid of the intimacy he feels while kissing these two completely different men. It doesn’t take long for him to be out the door once they all got off. He can’t seem to get the two sexy men out of his head. Luke can’t seem to outrun his demons and before he knows it , he’s back at the Haven. Ready to play hard and be the aggressor. He goes with the intention of finding someone new to play with,  but once he sees Matthew being approached by another couple, there is a twinge in his heart that he doesn’t understand. Richard makes the decision for them , when he collects them and they head to the room for a beautiful, fun filled night of passion. Luke finds himself exploring more intimate acts with these two. He is a bit pissed off at the end of the night when Richard sneaks off without saying goodbye.

They say the third time is the charm, and I do believe that Luke would agree, because I think that is when he realized how invested he was in these two wonderful men. He could not get them out of his mind and they made him want to conquer his demons and stop running. Richard is the one who comes up with the idea to make their threesome relationship permanent.  He also proposed that they both move in with him. At first, Luke is ready to bolt especially when he thinks about the danger he might place them in if his homophobic father found out about his unconventional relationship .

This trio is hot as hell and they definitely click, but outside of the bedroom, navigating their relationship can become problematic.  Richard is a bigwig businessman and there is a lot at stake to lose if people object to his lifestyle.  Luke’s  father is a politician and he tries with all his might to keep his life private and away from his father’s scrutiny . Matthew is young and insecure in many ways, he is very enthusiastic with his two lovers , but he still questions where and how he fit into their lives. He over compensates by doing a lot of the household chores and falls into the stereotypical ‘wife’ role.

Their relationship is truly tested when Luke’s father tries to force him to play by his rules . He attempts to ruin them by threatening Richard’s business prospects and showing him the long reach of a politician’s arm. They stand strong and steadfast,  but things get a little shaky when Luke decides to protect his men by going up against his father by wearing a wire for the FBI. Their love endured and saw them through the stressful times. I really enjoyed watching these three men plod through and building a bond strong enough to withstand the hardships of a threesome. I can’t wait to read the second installment of this series. I give this my ratings of 4 – lose the underwear.
