Indiscreet 4: Bull’s Whip by A.C. Katt

Title : Bull’s Whip                 Word Count :56,000

Genre : Contemporary Gay Romance

Blurb : Twinks are stronger than they appear and Bull is going to rue the day he thought differently.

Jamie O’Hara has been crushing on Bull Raleigh, the Dungeon Master at Indiscreet, for months. Bull hates twinks and Jamie is an gorgeous looking ebony haired twink personfied. Jamie is far from a twink and sets out to prove it. But in proving it Jamie ends up in danger from a white slavery ring. Can Bull put aside his prejudice to keep Jamie safe? When Jamie needs a safe place when he is threatened, Bull insists he stay with him. Jamie arrives with a White Persian Cat, the twinkiest cat in catdom, Bull struggles to stay above water as this set of twinks take over his life.

My Review : That old saying Walks like a twink, looks like a twink, must be a twink, isn’t always true especially in Jamie’s case. Jamie has all the trappings of a twink and Dungeon Master Bull Raleigh can’t stand twinks. It is up to Jamie to prove his worth to Bull who needs a sub who can truly handle pain. Jamie has a serious crush on Bull and does all he can to put himself out there. He is rebuffed each time he tries something new and Bull is down right rude and uncaring of his feelings. Bull is a self centered asshole who is filled with his own importance.  He is a judgemental, biased prick who is using his past hurtful experience to stigmatize all twinks. He sees twinks as puny , backstabbing gold diggers and Brian, Jim and Jamie are up in arms to break him of his preconceived notions.

Jamie sets out to prove Bull wrong about his pain threshold and in the process is severely beaten by a Dom and kidnapped by a sex slavery ring. All the Doms head to to shore to look for Jamie and are just in time to save him and eleven other men. They have captured all the thugs except for one and Jamie is the only one that saw his face. The police wants to put Jamie in witness protection , but Bull steps in and make the decision to take Jamie home. He plans on keeping Jamie safe until the bad guy is captured.

At this point , Jamie is turned off by all of Bull’s disparaging comments about twinks and even his Persian  cat who Bull says is twinky. Jamie and Bull forms a tentative friendship after Bull goes into therapy with Greg for his issues. Bull has damaged Jamie’s self esteem making him feel lower than dirt , so he does a few sessions with Greg also. Bull has the space and he can  protect Jamie. The parameters surrounding their friendship becomes blurred after Jamie volunteers for a caning scene. While he was in subspace, Bull took the liberty of relieving him of his virginity. The aftermath for Jamie is devastating because he didn’t want his first time to be so meaningless to the other person.

I must say I didn’t find any redeeming qualities of Bull’s from the start to the finish. I couldn’t warm up to him and it was very disconcerting to see his methods seeing as how he is the dungeon  master.  Bull was very unforgiving,  almost like he was waiting for Jamie to fail so he could punish him. Honestly,  licking boots, I just don’t see what that does for anyone. Bull is definitely on a power trip and I really don’t see him as a great Dom. Bull is very manipulative and I don’t think I’ve ever disliked a main character this much right up until the end. He had no scruples and did whatever he wanted to get into Jamie’s pants. Very dissapointed.  Bull finally acknowledged his love for Jamie when there is a club auction.  For me, I think this was a little too late. This  one was really a long hard road for me. I give this my ratings of 3 – it was ok, give it a try.

Indiscreet 3: Cisco’s Boy by A.C.Katt

Title : Cisco’s Boy                           Word Count :55, 000

Genre : Contemporary Gay Romance

Blurb : Master Cisco de Loria wants everything from his new sub Greg Harris, that is everything but love, in fact his contract expressly forbids it.

Dr. Greg Harris finally has the money to buy a submissive membership at Indiscreet, a gay BDSM club. The only thing he wants is to have Dr. Cisco de Loria as his Master. Cisco wants Greg too, but the one thing Greg most wants to give, Cisco refuses to take, Greg’s love. Cisco is so sure he doesn’t need love that he puts it in as a clause in their contract. If Greg ever mentions love, the contract is terminated. Cisco finds out the hard way that things somehow don’t always work out the way you plan.

My Review : These two have been well liked secondary characters from the very beginning.  Dr. Greg Harris is the psychiatrist that has helped the sub Brian with his memories of child abuse and Reed the Dom who is bipolar. Dr. Harris has made it clear that he is in love with Dr. Francisco de Loria who has no clue. Greg has recently become a member of club Indiscrete where he is paying to be a sub. He only has one Dom in mind and that’s Cisco. Cisco is very surprised to see Greg being introduced as one of the new subs and he immediately puts in a bid to have him for six months.  Master Dom Bear negotiates the contract for them. The only stipulation that Cisco wants to add is that Greg should not expect love from him or fall in love with him. Cisco is adamant about this as he refuses to have his heart crushed again. Greg is willing to have Cisco in his life , however he can get him.

Cisco is very specific about how he wants to take care of his boy and his word is law. He puts Greg in charge of the maintenance of the home, but in everything else he is the Dom. Cisco wants all the financial burdens to fall to him and he has more than enough money to take care of him and his boy comfortably.  The only thing he requires of Greg is full obedience,  companionship,  great intellectual conversations and sex at his disposal.

The relationship progressed really well between these two. Greg was really attentive to all of Cisco’s  needs and it soon became clear that it wouldn’t be easy for Cisco to stay detached. Cisco had issues concerning his money,   since his previous lover cheated on him and wiped him out financially. Cisco is lucky that after his parents died they left him over a hundred million dollars and he has guarded it ever since, making sure that his lovers have no clue about how wealthy he is. Cisco is able to see right off the bat that Greg would like to remain financially independent. This is the only contention in their relationship that earns Greg punishment.

Greg does everything in his power to please his Dom, but he doesn’t always feels as if it’s enough. He wants to be everything to Cisco , but he has to keep on reminding himself about the stipulation in their contract about not falling in love. The heart wants what the heart wants. His close friendship with Brian and Jim is what keeps his head above water, and his perseverance and faith in love that continues to guide him in his relationship with his Dom. His friends encourage him to watch Cisco’s actions rather than his words. It is obvious to all their friends that Cisco is so in love with his boy. It takes an almost tragedy where one of Greg’s psychiatric patients tries to hurt him for Cisco to confess his true feelings.

This was another enjoyable addition to this series. I didn’t feel as much connection with these two as I did with Jim and Reed,  but they were definitely a solid couple with a great sex life. I really like the fact that the author is drawing attention to mental health issues which has been the premise for all the stories that I have read so far. In our society today , I think it is really important that we not shy away from the ‘touchy’ subjects,  but rather highlight them as part of our everyday lifes. I give this my ratings of 4 – lose the underwear.

Indiscreet 2: Jack’s Back by A.C. Katt

Title :Jack’s Back                   Word Count :38,000

Genre : Contemporary Gay Romance

Blurb : Jim Menetti was Reed Davis’s sub until Reed’s old flame Jack came back. Jim picks himself up and makes a life for himself apart from his job at Indiscrete. He even begins to date but then Reed changes his mind.

Jim Menetti had a life at Indiscrete, the Gay BDSM club owned by Bear Drummond and Reed Davis. His life revolves around Reed, his Master, and his position as manager of the Club. On Jim and Reed’s third anniversary, Jack Leary, Reed’s on and off flame comes back and Jim’s relationship with Reed unravels. Jim picks himself up and makes a life for himself apart from his job, he buys a home, makes it a cozy retreat and gets a cat he names Waltzing Matilda. He even has a new love interest, the mysterious Professor Caleb Brickner, an expert in the Spainish Inquisition and medieval torture. Then, Reed changes his mind.

My Review : Sometimes in life,  we are our own worst enemy.  This is definitely the truth in Reed’s case when he makes the biggest mistake of his life by cheating on his loyal sub. Reed had an inkling almost from the moment he talked to Jim that he had let go off the best part of himself.  Reed has allowed his ex lover Jack to come back into his life, thinking that he is his great love. He doesn’t realize that what he has done is to extricate any form of intimacy out of his life. He is floundering without Jim in his life , but he is not sure how to make it right.

His best friend and master Dom ‘Bear’ is furious with his pig headed stupid best friend who can’t see what’s right in front of him. Bear and his sub Brian helps Jim to put back the pieces of his shattered existence together. Brian and Jim has become the best of friends and this is really great in helping Jim to become self confident in a way he never was. Jim meets the charming Caleb and things seem to be going great until it isn’t. Caleb has a dark undertone to his personality that is not immediately apparent.

Reed feels very relieved when his best friend Bear starts talking to him again. As soon as he meets Caleb , he feels a weird, ominous vibe. He knows he’s jealous of the new man in Reed’s life, but he knows he can’t deny the sense of fear he feels for his ex being around Caleb. Bear suggests that Reed talk to the pyschiatrist Dr. Harris that Brian had used when his childhood abuse was triggered. As much as he doesn’t like this idea, Reed knows that if he ever wants to be a part of Jim’s life , he needs to deal with his emotional barriers. Dr. Harris helps tremendously and  a lot comes to the surface for Reed. Reed is borderline bipolar and rather than share that part of himself with the love of his life, he decided to shut Jim out.

Caleb becomes increasingly possessive and when Jim rejects him, he gets exceedingly violent and kills Jim’s cat. Jim is devastated and fearful. Luckily,  his friends are there to help him through this harrowing time and Reed finally steps up to be the man he was meant to be for Jim. Reed expunges his deep seated demons and purges his soul.

I was really invested in these characters and they really tugged at my heartstrings with the connection that I felt through them . Whatever the first book in the series was missing,  this more than made up for it tenfold. I can’t express how real both Reed and Jim are and this is brought forth through their flaws and faults. I give this my ratings of 5 – bring out the vibrators.

Favorite Quotes : 1. “Baby, I couldn’t stand by and let something happen to you. I know, you…you have a new life and I’m not part of it. I swear to you as soon as this is over, I’ll leave the area, let you go. But please, let me take care of you this once like you’ve cared for me so many times. I need your forgiveness. I need…to save my soul, baby.” Reed dropped his arms with an abrupt motion and walked over to the glass door. “I held out on you, baby. I shouldn’t have.” Reed sighed. ( The ultimate sacrifice is letting go of someone you truly love in order to give them peace and happiness,  without being the one to share in that happiness with them.)

2. You need to understand, my lover, we are in this together. Whether we be Master and slave, Dom and sub, or partners, you have to know that I love you for all that you are, past, present, and the future we make together. Reed, you are as much mine as I am yours. It doesn’t matter how it’s expressed. I’ll go down on my knees for you forever, if that’s what you need, Reed, just so long as I know you love me.( True love is founded on equality. )

Indiscreet 1: A Matter of Trust by A.C. Katt

Title : A Matter of Trust                Word Count :70,000

Genre : Contemporary Gay Romance

Blurb :Donald K. Drummond is the Master of all he surveys; a legend in commercial real estate in New Jersey by day and by night a Master Dom at the gay BDSM club, Indiscrete. What he couldn’t find was a boy to call his own. That all changed when a nerd with taped glasses and worn Dockers barged into his office spilling his bottle of 1985 Bourdeau over his priceless Persian carpet. Brian Murphy came with a host of troubles, the least of which was his grasping Aunt, his invalid mother and his rather tenious position in Donald’s mail room. Can a Dom with issues of his own come to train and trust a needy boy from his own mailroom. It’s all A Matter of Trust.

My Review : Donald ‘Bear’ Drummond has a very dominant complex personality and he doesn’t trust very well. He’s a self made man who became rich through his hard work, dedication and perseverance.  He is used to men trying to use him for his money and he tries his best to weed them out. Bear is looking for an ideal sub , one who can fulfill all his needs and be the perfect boy for him. The first time he meets Brian,  he knows this is the boy for him. Brian works in the mail room of his company and was set the task of delivering a package to him. It so happens that Brian trips and that’s how Bear finds him.Brian is clumsily sopping up the Bordeaux wine out of the expensive Persian rug after overturning it. Bear could care less about all these things. He is so focused on the sexy little submissive and he can’t wait to finally get this dream boy into his home. Bear plans to woo his sub properly, but his plans get derailed after Brian goes home.

Brian lives in a shitty little crack building and has a very horrible homophobic landlady. After seeing an invitation come for Brian from the prestigious gay BDSM  club, she gets her goons to beat Brian to an inch of his life. Bear is just in time to take his beautiful sub to the hospital with the help of his friends Jim and Reed. It is from this point of the story, where the book gets a little lackluster for me. I liked the whole premise of the story, but the relationship between these two seemed very forced and rushed even though there is more than enough pages in the book to facilitate the development of the characters and a proper follow through. I don’t  think the chemistry was there between these two. I think that the dialogue was a little too stilted and it didn’t really flow how I thought it should. I really was dissapointed when I didn’t feel that gut wrenching reaction and that genuineness.

It is unveiled that Brian has been abused repeatedly by his mother when he was a child. It is heartbreaking that throughout it all,  poor Brian beggars himself to pay for her medical bills.  Bear moves Brian into his home and takes the liberties of taking over all his financial burdens. Both men know that they are in love with each other, however trust is another realm for both of them . Brian is an experienced sub but he is known in their circles as the unbreakable sub. No one has been granted the privelege of relieving him of his virginity.  Bear also has trust issues and he hopes that in time he can trust Brian as much as he loves him. Bear makes it very clear that they will not engage in penetration  until he has collared Brian publicly. Nevertheless,  their sex life is super hot regardless.

Bear gives Brian numerous tests in the service element to ensure that they are a proper fit. Bear wants a forward thinking sub who will think for himself, but who will also serve obediently and show him the proper respect which  is due to his stature as a master Dom. Brian performs flawlessly both at home and at the club. Bear is extremely proud and finds himself loving and trusting his lover, friend and most importantly his sub.

I had a bit of a love hate relationship with this book. For his part,  I think Bear was a great Dom  in the respect that he was far more giving and took care of his boys sexual needs in the bedroom. On the other hand, in public he was very rigid in terms of his  boy’s posture and the obedience that he expected from Brian, some of which I thought was unrealistic. Overall I give this my ratings of 3 – it was ok, give it a try. If you like insta-love it’s definitely for you. I will definitely try the second book in this series.

Stockton Wolves 1: Get Off my Case by Lisa Oliver

Title : Get off my Case         Word Count :69,777

Genre : Paranormal Gay Romance

Blurb : The first 20,000 words of this story were published as a free read for the Goodreads MMRomance Group Love’s Landscapes Project. 49,000 words have been added to make this into the book my characters wanted it to be.

Shane West was used to being the only wolf shifter at the Stockton Police Department. His enhanced senses helped him do his job efficiently and he prided himself on keeping control of his animal instincts. Gay from the first day he’d shifted, he also expected to live his long life alone, and provided it meant that he didn’t have to come into contact with any of his ex-pack, he told himself he was happy. And he was. Until Dimitri Polst was assigned as his new partner.

Confirmed ladies man, Dimitri Polst knew Shane from before he’d ever shifted into his wolf form. Two years older and from the same pack, Dimitri had made it his teenage mission to bring as much pain and humiliation to pretty-boy Shane as possible. But years later, he searched for that pretty boy, now all grown up, with a completely different mission in mind.

Being fated mates was hard enough, but when one man is straight and the other one has no reason to trust, then sparks are bound to fly. Add in a serial killer who is making inroads into the gay population and a possible shifter involvement, and Shane and Dimitri have a lot of thing to overcome before they get their HEA.

My Review : Shane has come a far way to become the man that he was destined to be. He is definitely not the geeky little short stuff who got picked on constantly by the bigger wolves in his pack. Shane has put on some bulk and he has left  his pack behind after telling his parents that he is gay. Being gay is something that is not acceptable in his old pack, so he decides to sever all ties and move to Stockton where he is a respected detective, despite his sexuality.

One of Shane’s main tormentors from high school was Dimitri. He always had a crush on Dimitri and this is what made it so hard for him. After Dimitri’s first shift, he realized that Shane was his mate. However,  Dimitri is straight and he keeps on denying his mate bond for several years.  His wolf fights him on this and this is one of the main reasons he moves to Stockton to be with his mate. Shane is a bit stand-offish and very confused about forging a relationship with his mate.Their relationship is definitely not one demensional and it causes great conflict, no matter how they feel pulled to each other. Their life is fraught with tension, both their professional and intimate lives. There are many barriers that have to be overcome  due to them being enemies in their teenage years and all the hurt feelings on both sides. There are some things that just can’t be erased even though it’s been forgiven. Sometimes it’s the hard truths in our lives that help us to heal and it can also repair torn relationships.

The passion between the two wolves is electrifying and is cause for some really hot sex scenes. For  Dimitri,  sex with a man is uncharted territory but he soon revels in his explorations.  For Shane who always identified as being gay, sex with his mate was a reawakening of his senses and a co-mingling of their souls. It was so much fun watching these two navigate the  sexual side of their relationship.  They were both evenly matched sexy dominant men. They were switch hitters who each had a turn to get into each other. This led to  lots of marathon sex and I was right there with them all the way.

Our notions about our sexuality are usually deeply ingrained from a really young age . This is why Dimitri’s constant denial that he is not gay is understandable , but it causes untold  pain for his mate. Even though he’s thought about claiming his male mate for years, actually putting it into practice is entirely different and is cause for quite a few setbacks on his journey to lifelong happiness. For me   this added a touch of realness to their situation because it showed that  despite them being shifters, their relationship wasn’t uncomplicated. It wasn’t all about forever love and all their problems would dissappear once they mated. Relationships take lots of work and we all make mistakes along the way. I really appreciated this quality and how it makes Dimitri seem genuine in my estimation. That being said,  my heart broke for Shane for the rejection, confusion and hurt he was undergoing from a man that should cherish him above all else.  It is testament to Shane’s strength that keeps him going throughout it all.

By working together in both a professional and personal capacity,  they were able to learn a lot about each. They were able to put the past were it belonged and conquered all obstacles that stood in the path of their happiness. This was really a full-bodied story , all the components worked for me. The back story was great and I really liked the secondary characters that were introduced. I am hoping that they each get their own stories. It was great fun watching it all unfold. I applaud Lisa Oliver for another great read, I am never dissapointed.  Dimitri and Shane have a beautiful happy ever after to their love story.  They were able to trust and love each other wholeheartedly.  I give this my ratings of 5 – bring out the vibrators.

Wes & Toren by J.M. Colail

Title : Wes and Toren                Word Count : 304 pgs

Genre : Contemporary Gay Romance

Blurb : It’s not so easy being young, gay, and in love for the first time at the average high school. Senior Toren Grey cares more about his family and his grades than what brand of clothes he wears. He agrees with the majority consensus that he’s a nerd. So he’s quite surprised when resident bad boy Wesley Carroll speaks to him in the hall, stirring feelings that Toren has to hide.

Disconcerted by Wes’s free and easy ways, Toren can’t deny the attraction between them. As he relaxes and gets to know Wes better, he finds there’s more to the sexy rebel than his public image. Before long the young men are exploring new territory and falling in love, but life just isn’t that simple. After they graduate, obstacles block their relationship at every turn: Wes working versus Toren in college, the virulent disapproval of parents, and everyday trials faced by any struggling young couple. Wes and Toren have to believe in each other… and never doubt that their love can conquer all.

My Review : This is just such a very heartwarming story with lovable characters.  It allows us to believe in the promise of young love and all that it entails. This is one of those stories that is imprinted in my mind and I keep on rereading whenever I need a jumpstart. Wes  is not  the typical high school bad boy. Underneath all his layers he is a sweet caring guy who is gay. He goes after what he wants and what he wants is Toren. Toren is a sweet shy geek who has a crush on Wes.

Toren is really surprised when Wes signs them up to be partners for a history project. This gives them a lot of time to spend together and Wes slowly opens up  Toren and pulls him out of his shell. Toren is scared at first because he is not sure if Wes is just playing with his feelings. He comes to depend on Wes and before they know it , they are  in a caring stable relationship.  The sexual chemistry is really on another plane with these two sweethearts and offers a level of intimacy which is almost tangible. They finish their last year of high school and it opens up certain doors for them, not only towards an educational future, but  towards a committed adult relationship.

Wes’ mom is far from pleased when she catches the boys making out in her garage. Wes’ parents give him an ultimatum.  Stop seeing Toren or move out. Wes decides to move out. He is so in love with Toren and he knows he can’t deny a part of himself. Toren is shocked, a little scared and a whole lot of happy when Wes asks him to move in with him. Before he can make a snap decision,  Wes tells him to think it through carefully. Toren doesn’t have to think too hard, he knows what his heart wants. It’s a beautiful thing to see them starting their lives right, fusing every aspect of their  lives together.

Toren’s innocence is so genuine and his shy quality is so endearing,  that is why it’s so hot to see him taking charge in the bedroom and letting that sex kitten side take over. The shy ones are always the sexiest,  rawr 😉. Did I mention how shy I am😇?

It soon becomes clear that Wes isn’t the only one drawn to Toren’s  innocence when Tor goes to university,  Tor’s lab partner is quite smitten with his appeal. Josh, his cute lab partner gives him a kiss after dropping him home after their study session. Wes is just in time to see his boyfriend being kissed by another man and he is furious. This is their first real fight and Wes takes a few minutes to cool off. Poor Toren breaks down crying, never in a million years believing that their first argument would be over such a misunderstanding. They have hot , sexy make-up sex, tge best kind 😉.Wes lays claim to Toren by making sweet passionate love with him. However,  he makes it very clear to Toren that he doesn’t trust his lab partner.  A little bit of jealousy is good for the soul. It helps us to appreciate that special someone in our lives.

Niggling doubts start to creep in their relationship when Wes starts thinking that Toren has a bright future ahead of him while he is just a grease monkey. Toren tries his best to reassure Wes and explain to him that it doesn’t matter as long as they make each other happy.

Their love was faithful and solid as a rock throughout the whole story. As soon as they found their footing again, Wes becomes really sick. Toren has to rush him to the hospital for an emergency appendectomy surgery. Wes recovers successfully and typical tough guy acts like a baby while recuperating. I am sure it was hard for him though, literally, since he had to sleep beside his sexy shy Toren for two whole weeks without sex. That would make any red-blooded male want to pull their hair out. I totally empathize with him. They certainly make up for it once Wes is fully healed. Hot , hot , hot😆. This was a great story and words can’t explain how much I enjoy it every time I read it over again. I think this is probably my 5th time rereading it. I give this my ratings of 5 – bring out the vibrators.

Collars & Cuffs 3: Someone to Keep Me by K. C. Wells and Parker Williams

Title : Someone to Keep Me          Word Count :83,608

Genre : Contemporary Gay Romance

Blurb : Eighteen-year-old Scott Keating knows a whole world exists beyond his parents’ strict control, but until he gains access to the World Wide Web, he really has no idea what’s out there. In a chat room, Scott meets “JeffUK.” Jeff loves and understands him, and when he offers to bring Scott to the UK, Scott seizes his chance to escape his humdrum life and see the world. But when his plane touches down and Jeff isn’t there, panic sets in.

Collars & Cuffs favorite barman and Dom-in-training, Ben Winters, drops his sister off at the airport and finds a lost, anxious Scott. Hearing Scott’s story sets off alarm bells, along with his protective instincts. Taking pity on the naïve boy, Ben offers him a place to crash and invites him to Collars & Cuffs, hoping his bosses will know how to help. Scott dreams of belonging to someone, heart and soul. Ben longs for a sub of his own. And neither man sees what’s right under his nose.

My Review : Scott is a lonely teenager who is constantly put down by his parents. They look at him as a disappointment and deny his sexuality.  Scott feels so alone and cut off from the world, he meets Jeff online and he fills a void in Scott’s life for companionship.  Scott is easily susceptible to Jeff ‘s charms and quickly falls head over heels for him.  Shortly after , Jeff sends Scott a plane ticket to come live with him in Manchester.  Scott is a little naive, gullible and desperate enough to accept this offer of ‘freedom’.

When Scott arrives at the airport on the other side of the pond, he waits anxiously for Jeff for a few hours. Pretty soon it becomes clear that Jeff has stood up Scott. A handsome passersby Ben sees the lost look on Scott’s face. He intervenes and all his protective instincts are brought out by Scott. Ben takes Scott to a hotel room after speaking on the phone with his boss Leo who has charged the room in his name. They are able to give Scott a peaceful night’s rest. The next day they go to the BDSM club Collars & Cuffs where Ben is a bartender. Ben’s two bosses Leo and Thomas try to help Scott out of his current situation which they suspect might have been orchestrated by an Internet predator.

They all come to the decision to place Scott with Ben for the time being until they can figure out other living arrangements.  There is  only one problem, Ben is not as affluent as Leo and Thomas, and he is too proud to accept financial help from them. This is an issue from the very beginning and poses a problem for Scott’s and Ben’s relationship.  It is clear to see that Scott is submissive and he longs to be owned by a master who can take care of him.

Scott takes care of Ben by taking care of his home and cooking delicious vegetarian meals.  When Scott is introduced to the other subs Alex and Peter,  he immediately forms a bond with them. He is intrigued by the relationship that they have with their Doms Leo and Thomas. Scott becomes really interested in the lifestyle and his interest is piqued.  His interest skyrockets when he stumbles upon some homemade sex tapes of Ben dominating a young man in a harness. Ben’s dirty talk about fucking his sub in public really turns him on. Scott realizes that he wants Ben to be his Dom. He petitions Leo to help in finding him a Dom.

Ben is interested but he keeps waffling with indecision, due to all his other financial burdens. He knows that as much as he wants Scott, he doesn’t feel it’s fair if he can’t take care of  all his ‘ boy’s’  financial needs. Although he is constantly shown the error of his ways when he allows his boy to slip through his fingers twice, Ben remains too stubborn and proud to take Leo’s money.

Scott is happy for a time and gifts his virginity publicly to his master Ben on his birthday. They are extremely happy after leaving their scene of public exhibition.  However,  that bliss is torn to shreds when Ben gets run over by a drunk driver.  Scott is beside himself with grief and he is desperately hopes that Ben will pull through unscathed. Ben pulls through but his legs are broken and he is bruised. This results in him taking time off of work, and seeing as how he doesn’t have any disposable income, this pushes him to the decision to give Scott up yet again.

Poor Scott is constantly left broken hearted by Ben , and his love for his master never wavers. As much as I like Ben  I think he is way too fickle snd buckles under financial pressure. Ben needs to learn a sense of family that is provided by Leo and Thomas at the club and he needs to learn how to accept help graciously.  Ben was a little bit too rigid in his pride to the detriment of Scott’s feelings of self worth. Overall , I really enjoyed this and I look forward to reading the next in the series. I give this my ratings of 4 – lose the underwear.
