Mossy Glenn Ranch 1: Chaps and Hope by Bailey Bradford

Title : Chaps and Hope              Word Count :52,036

Genre : Contemporary Gay Romance

Blurb : It’ll take hard work for Carlos, Troy and Will to turn the Mossy Glenn Ranch into the successful business it used to be, and even more challenging will be making the place their home.

Carlos, Troy and Will met in Where There’s a Will. They found each other and a love not many people could imagine. It worked for them, and they’ve been handed a chance at a new life and a home of their own.

The Mossy Glenn Ranch, owned by three siblings, Nick, Rory, and Annabelle, used to be flush with success. Then the previous owners destroyed almost everything, selling their heritage right out from under the three.

They bought part of it back, and asked Carlos and his partners to make the place successful again. It’s a chance he grabs with both hands once his guys agree, but there are challenges for all of them, and Will’s desire to make the place specifically LGBT-employee friendly and safe may cause more trouble than they already find when the get to their new home.

From a situation in town that reminds Will all too much of his own abusive past, to the surprising support of many of the townsfolk, the trio find themselves facing new challenges and reaching for the love and support that grows stronger between them.

My Review : Here we are reintroduced to Carlos, Troy and Will. This is a continuation of their relationship and a look into their lives and how they are dealing with being in a trio in a new state. They were very insulated in the previous book , because they were surrounded by other gay couples and another trio. Now they have to navigate their relationship on the Mossy Glenn Ranch in Montana which might cause some problems with people who might not be understanding of their relationship. Will has put forth the idea of making the Mossy Glenn a gay friendly place to live and work. Both his men are on board with this plan and have decided to allow Will to put ads in the the  online gay magazines. Before he knows it, he is overwhelmed with applications and resumes. Will and his partners  conduct interviews and choose a few candidates that really gel with the ranch and their lifestyle.

Not everyone is happy to have them in town. When they go to the hardware store they are met with adversity from the bigoted owner. The owner is not happy with his son helping out Troy. Troy is worried about the young man after seeing the threatening look that passes from father to son. He goes back a few days only to find the young man unconcious and his father with bruised knuckles.  Troy barely holds himself in check until the ambulance and police arrives. However, this incident shows them that they are not alone and not all the townspeople are bigoted. Both Will and Troy receive some support after Troy gets bruised ribs trying to hold the homophobic father.

Will and Carlos shows their ever strengthening love for Troy. The trio is as hot as ever ,if not hotter. Will is a little shy in his demands, when he asks Carlos to fist him. Never thought I would find that hot , but it was incredibly hot and sexy. The sex scenes were raunchy and filled with raw desire from these three. This was another riveting page turner. I can’t wait to see which one of their new friends and employees will get a turn at romance. I give this one my ratings of 4 – lose the underwear.

Favorite Quotes : 1. Will was going to find the big oaf and trip him just to watch him fall.(Hilarious😀,  Will can be fierce when he is protecting one of his men.)
